We follow evidence-based treatments and techniques to treat speech, language, and social communication disorders in children and young adults.
- Fluency Disorder: occurs when a person presents with dysfluent speech (stuttering)
- Receptive/Expressive Language Disorder: a receptive language disorder occurs when a person has difficulty understanding or interpreting information or others. On the other hand, an expressive language disorder occurs when a person has difficulty expressing thoughts, ideas, or feelings among others. These difficulties may also include written language and may affect the form (phonology, morphology, syntax), content (semantics), and use (pragmatics) of a child’s language.
- Social Communication Disorder: occurs when a person struggles with the social use of verbal and nonverbal communication.
